Can you keep a secret?

Oh I just realize. Need to study Math and Chemistry for my uni's placement test. Haiho. Must lessen my fun time and struggle to my last breath! Ganbate nehhhh!~ Like Izzat said, which brought me to reality about how important this test is, "x kan kaw nak dpt class belakang?" huhuh. I must work hard. Yes. I must. Though I've been dumping math for about 2 months, and my brains seems to have a bit of rusty effects, haiho what need to be done must be done!

wait wait wait. cotto mate! Did I just type the word Chemistry???????

C-H-E-M-I-S-T-R-Y!

Oh hell no. NO. The last time I opened a chem book was......while I was preparing for SPM. and when was that? two years ago. I repeat TWO YEARS AGO.

Ayoyoyoyo~ x_x

Lalalallala~ whatever la~

before I log off from this site, click on the bookmark : psu's test, and get ready for math question, I've to tell you this.

I went to THE SPRING!

The Spring what?

The Spring is a brand new shopping center for kuching-ites. People from all over Sarawak have been longing for a huge (but not so huge la actually) shopping mall where they can get whatever they want in one single building! Yeah.

haha~ sakai me.

we bought a pack of 12 donuts from the Big Apple worth rm25.00. Huh expensive no? If I'm not mistaken, in KL it would cost me about rm23++, or not? Hoho, for those who have never been to Kuching or any part of Borneo, let me tell you something. Hoho serious tone. Almost everything from foods to clothes here are expensive. Be realistic, almost every goods come from Peninsular so plus all the taxes and charges, the price should be more expensive. But not everything are expensive, some are cheaper. Such as foods at mamak, quite okay. What else huh? hoho couldn't think any.

Now, you must be wondering why is the title above 'can you keep a secret?'. Well, at The Spring's MPH, I saw a book entitled above and I was in between of buying it or not. I want to own it!!!!! I became enthralled with the cover so I read it's summary. I love the book. From what I remember, it's about a woman who has many secrets and one guy knows all of them. Hmm interesting.. However, considering that I've less time to read since I'm enjoying my time on the net so much, I decided not to buy. Plus, I have four more books to be read. But, one day, yes one day, it will be mine. Not just that book, but a whole entire set of Sophie Kinsella's masterpiece will be mine. Mine. Mine. Mine! Can you see how determine I am? (for now obviously) Heh -_-
I flipped the book, looked close at the cod bar, I saw the price in US is only $6.99. Oh ho, how cheap!~ But then again, maybe I should just borrow it from the library. Saving is very crucial. x_x

okay brain, ready to be functioned! study study study~ while watching tv. sheh -_-

p/s: now I remember what the use of a can of nescafe I grabbed (and paid okay) at the mall this evening.

How coincidence!

"achoooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"

sniff sniff.

"achooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmm"

sniff sniff.
Red nosed. sniff sniff. sneeze. urg. hate it.

haish. ever since I'm back in my hometown, getting a flu is a must. Oh people bear with me. I bear with the three musketeers. Who else, the ones who contribute to the state of my health now. Though I hate so much when I sick but without them, our lives will be dull. So, erhhh bear with them!

Talked to miem yesterday, I mean chatted with her through YM, I was informed that maybe we'll have our pre-departure on 31st July. Meaning, I'll be leaving my place on 30th. Oh no. So now, today is 18th. To that amount, the time left for me at home is 12 days. Huhu. Sad? Of course. :( Up until now, I couldn't believe in less than a month, to God's Willing, I won't be here. Anymore...

I used to think 14 months of preparation in Intec is long. But I was wrong. Everything seems so fast that I felt like taking the SAT yesterday. Can I draw a conclusion that 4 years in the states won't be that long? Then, I come back to M'sia, built a stable career, construct a well planned life, that means : get a soul mate, get married, buy a house, a car, etc, get a child, ...........
oh, life is too short to be planned. Or not.

I forgot to tell you this,

YOU KNOW WHAT???? YOU KNOW WHO I MET AT THE AIRPORT??????

I was so surprised yet amazed at how Might Allah is.

The last time we met was last year at UiTM Shah Alam on the Independence Night.
Then, he flew off to Russia. I didn't expect to see him in a year. Yet, on 14 of July 08, KLIA witnessed our accidentally acquaintance.

mWahhahahhaha why so dramatic?

for those who know him, this is a good friend of mine, a doctor-to-be :

jeng jeng jeng~

mr Shafieq Ashraf!

It's funny how we met. Right after Maghrib, I dashed to level 3 to get something mum asked for. I was hurrying so that I can have time to online for awhile. On my way to the elevator, (my, my, my, my luggage was wayyyyyyyyyyy heavy than I thought!) I sensed someone following me. Perhaps that was an ordinary being like me wanted to go to somewhere. Waiting for the elevator, I looked at my left. I looked twice. I looked on my right, talking to my self "Isn't that...ermm...he looks like sha.."

A voice approached on my left, " Assalamualaikum, saudari (miss) ..." Before he finished his sentence, I snapped him, "Ha! You're Shafieq right?!" We both laughed all the way, suprised at how on earth coincidentally we met. Then we talked about what happened nowadays and crapped crapped crapped to cut long story short, sneaking at my watch, Oh it was almost 8.30! I was supposed to get into Gate A2 at 8.20pm. Heheh.. excited lor meeting old friend. Finished our short conversation, I ran as fast as I could to gate A, which I've no idea where. Hoping the signs would help me reach there asap, I kept thinking of how coincidence meeting this old friend. Before we separated, he gave me three unique and cute key chains for me, my big sis and lil sis. Woho! Felt like siblings. How sweet. Happy. Thanks Shafieq.
*ahem* anyone interested in him? ahem* i think he's taken already la. hehe it's okay, no harm in trying. ahaks~ =PpP

I bet he must wondered why I became so talkative that day? when we were in Intec, I didn't talk that much.

Hoho, the answer is... *secret* heheh~

haha yes. no secret at all. It just that I'm excited since he just got back from Russia, (before that a long transit in Dubai for 3 days!!!! *extremely jealous* ) and seems to have experiences more than I do in living overseas. That was a chance for me to dig as much infos as I could ask for about how he's doing there.

Hoho. Good luck for ur future undertaking! :D Maybe someday we'll meet again. Perhaps at the same place?

A post

Guess I'll stick to my preferable fonts. It does matter. It will determine how excited I'll be to create a post. Heh.

So many things happen nowadays. Fuel price rising? Inflation? Global warming? I can feel the world is going upside down. How I wish I can go back to the past and fix every flaw. But Allah knows better. There must be a reason what has happened. -_-

I always feel to create a beneficial post. A post that can benefit the readers. But at the moment I could not think of any. I mean, there's a lot of intellectual posts out there but to find a post that is able to capture our attention is not easy. Well, then again, back to basis, every each of us is different. I may think black is elegant, some may feel black is sorrow.

Maybe yes, just maybe, I shall talk about what I learn in Psychology class, a subject I like the most so far.

fonts?

oh hoh. I got so many things to say but I just can't coerce my mind to spill them out. Yesterday I thought of writing about something that is important. But, due to abrupt interruption to the server, that didn't happen. I browse at my friend's blog and one thing that interest me is the font size. What difference can it make if I use small or big or medium size of fonts? Yes, there are differences. Which for me is when people use TOO small fonts, they must have so many things to say that they need small fonts so that they can have greater space to write. Me myself, I like to look at small fonts, not too small but not so medium. Take this post for example, is exactly my preferable fonts.

This post shows how lack of idea I am. Mwahahhahahha~ I'm on holiday okay.

i'm home

great.

wuhu!

Saturday, July 12, 2008

oh ye?

Hoho..Let's blog in BM.

hoh nada saya sungguh patriotik nampaknya. hoho!

Kesimpulannya:

>> saya SERONOK ber-BTN
>> dapat berkenalan dengan kawan baru dari
Intec (MEP & ATUSA) KYUEM dan KTJ.
>> dapat mengembangkan minda mengenai isu semasa
>> belajar sejarah sekolah menengah
>> hargai scholarship yang diberi kerana itu adalah DUIT RAKYAT!
>> capai cita-cita dengan jayanya.

sudah tentu semalam adalah hari yang ditunggu-tunggu kerana kami akan pulang ke RUMAH!
tapi...
adalah sedikit perasaan sedih.
sob sob sob
saya akan berpisah dengan rakan-rakan
....
dan juga sebenarnya saya rasa aman dan damai di Tg Aru itu.
kenapa?
kerana...
no handphone for 5 days! hoho!
tiada handphone = tiada pengeluaran kredit = tiada kehabisan kredit = tiada perlunya membeli kad isian semula = tiada pengeluaran wang!
*penjimatan maksimum!*
hehe..
jadi...
KAMI MENANG TANPA BERTANDING!!
haha

Of lasagne and white caramel mocha

1.5 Years Ago...

Me : Hey, when are we going to meet?
Her : Erm..erm.. I don't know..
Me : Hurm..
Her : Hurm..

One week ago...

Her : Byjoro!!! I'm going to UiTM Shah Alam!!!!
Me : You what?? OMG, this is great!! What course?
Her : Dentistry. Registration on 29th July. When can I see you?
Me : Coolness! We met right after you're done with orientation. Just ring me. I'm so free babe.
Her : Yea, I can't wait.

Today.. (July 4th 08)

Her : Hey, byzoro..! Text me when you arrive at KTM.
Me : Yea, I will.
*waiting almost 15min after I text her* lambat nye minah neyyy* me and ezzi chatted bout studies~ haha how lame*

She walked straight towards the station and looking for us.
"Hey mastur!!"
"Heyy!"
"Go buy your ticket, we'll wait for you"

---------------HUGS AND KISSES---------------------
~mwah mwah mwah I miss you so much!!!~

She's my best friend forever.
We met when we were 16teen. Not knowing we would become a good friends at first moment we talked.
She's so bright that she always above me in any exams.
How I wish I could turn back the time when we are together, singing Jessey Mc Cartney's Just: So You Know. Hurm.. I miss those times.

iklan ~ iklan ~ iklan~

(our school)
answers : Byzoro and Mastoro!!!

Ya, tidak dinafikan itu semua. Kami amatlah famous.

outside the assembly hall, 15mins before formal assembly started..

Her : Byzoro!! Kau nak cter pasal sape?
Me : Erm, tak tahu lagi. Kau?
Her : Well, I wanna talk about you!!
Me : Oh seriously??

*rasa bersalah juga karna saya merancang untuk becerita mengenai ibu saya. rasa cam nak cerita pasal dia jugak. now then it's fair.*

During the assembly..

Emcee : Now I would like to call upon Miss Mastura Mahfar to deliver her speech!
*claps*

Her : *greetings* ........" Today I wanna talk about my best friend. She's a prefect in this school and she's from Sarawak. I'm sure some of you know her. She is ...(my name). *then people turned their back and gave me a smile. I always sat at the back. mwahahha* ... We are good friends. We always talk about many things that good friends talk about such as about our studies and what we like. We also love to talk about boys.......bla bla bla....thank you...."

dang, I remembered Amira Yasmeen (prefect's hicom) gave me an evil look and commented, "Oh bye, rupa rupanya inilah kau ye..hehe"

*then I saw our beloved PKM, Miss Maria smiled and about to laugh but she didn't..*

Assembly finished. I went back to class, passing through my friends..

"Oh bye, 'talk about boys ha!' hahah", someone said.

"Oh ni lah keje korang ye, talk about boys.." another someone said.

I just shook my head. grinned. laughed. smiled.

Yelah, of course we talked about boys, not just boys, girls also. who doesn't?

haha

being in all girl school make us feel that talking about boys is such a no-no.

unforgettable memories. that is how we become so called famous best friends.

Riwayat Hidup

This is random.

where should I start?

I feel like filling in my friend biography's book when I was 10.

Real name given by my parents:
Sharifah Nor Baizura bt Wan Mohamad

sheh. some would not believe I'm actually a Sharifah. Don't know why. Some might question why Sharifah? Why not Wan? Why I'm not Wan Nor Baizura Wan Mohamad? Because, in Sarawak it just like that. Like why cats catch mice or why men like women. (err maybe my analogy seems weird) All my female cousins are Sharifah too. Correct me if I'm wrong because I've never met any pure Sarawakian with initial Wan. This shows how unique we are. Hahaha *perasan*
When I was small, ridiculously I shall say, some of my friends said that
"wo, you have king's blood"

huh? yeah? huh? *blur* no such thing.

Unreal name given by people around me:
Bye, Baizura, Baizu, Sharifah, Bayi.

Bayi? haha~ Only CERTAIN people do call me that. Especially Ezzi and Alin. (both are my ex-schoolmates) They say if they call me bye, it sounds too short and only has one syllable. So they just simply add the ie sound. Now you have bye-ie = bayi, so it gives two syllables. Clever.

I came to the world on 31st of March 1989
guess I'm not a lompat girl (PTS). haha. I left my pictures when I was a toddler, or do I still have them? haha I'm not good in keeping stuffs. Seriously. A reckless person.

I spend almost 15years in Kuching.
Born there, grew up there, studied there, almost everything there. Why 15? Because another 4 years belong to Peninsular Malaysia. Ngeh.

Schools?
Like everyone did, I went to kindergartens. At 5, I enrolled in a Morning Bell's Kindergarten, a chinese school. I learned a bit of Chinese but unfortunately most of the information did not make their way to my long term memory. So, no Chinese language for me. Hard enough, I'm lucky for still remembering how to count in Chinese. Yeay.
ie, er, sun, ser, uu, liew, chik, park, siu, sher. (1-10)
ngeee~
at 6, welcome to BINA Kindergarten! An Islamic school. I love being here. We wore white and green uniforms. My classroom teacher was very very nice. But I forgot her name. Sheh. -_-
Primary 1-12
Actually, I got my self qualified to this one elite school but since it is quite far from my home, so I have to ignore the offer. It would be a burden for my parents to send and pick me up. How sad. I wanted to go to that school badly.
So, I moved on. SK Matang. Nice place.
Secondary 1-3
Since I played so hard during my UPSR, I got my self rejected to any boarding school. I blamed my self for what had happened. It was shamed of me.
nevertheless, I gained my strength and fight to the end. It was worth it. 3 years of getting my mind and my body to focus on only one thing, GET 8A's for PMR, a life time personal achievement.
"Make yourself proud, Make your parents proud"
and yes, I did. Alhamdulillah.
Thanks SMK Matang Hilir
Secondary 4-5
Sponsored by Yayasan Sarawak to further my studies in SMS Seri Puteri, KL was a life chance opportunity. How could I not accept the offer? So, let's go! I love this place and everyone in it. Though I didn't get rm500 from Yayasan Cheras (for those who got straight A's), but my unbelievable result was good enough. You see, I was just an average student. 9A's and 1B are what I deserved. It was more than enough. ;) Biology used to be my fav subject. Haiz. Why did I screw it up?

Just recently,
INTEC Uitm, Shah Alam. ADFP. American Degree Foundation Program.
14 Months Preparation before I spread my wings and fly off to the States.
Alhamdulillah. Thanks MARA. =D
Let's not waste any tax payers' money and work hard for excellent results!
INTEC is the best place ever (for now). I've collected lots of memories that I couldn't put into words.
*unable to express my mixed feelings here*
now,
nowhere to go but HOME. hehe Holiday for a month. huhu
next?
Pennsylvania State University, PA, USA.
INSYAALLAH

: : enough of my education background : :

My Family Background

Librarian : Hello, pinjam or pulangkan buku?
Me : Pinjam. *giving my matrix card*
Librarian : *scanning the card*
Me: *waiting*
Librarian: *hitting the monitor* Haish, system low lah dek. Kejap ek.
Me: *nodding*
Librarian: Oh, cuti raya ni balek mana? Kelantan? Tengganu?
Me: Huh? Oh tak tak. Balek Kuching.
Librarian: Kuching? Awak orang Kuching? Yeke? Tak macam orang Kuching pun.
Me: Ye, ye, saya orang Kuching. *proudly expressed* (haha)
Librarian: Yeke? Entah-entah orang Kuching celup.

:: this conversation took place last year in Intec's Old Library (which now turns into exams hall) ::
Nah.
Quite many people say I don't have the Sarawakian look. Erm, do we have some kind of look? *wonder* Anyway, I'm not going to argue on that. Haha I can say I'm unique, praise to Allah The Mighty for giving me a uniqueness. =D Well, the story is like this. My dad is a Malay (maybe adelah sikit2 darah Arab, kot.) And my mom is the one who has several mixed bloods. My grandpa is a Chinese, my god, he's so tall that he had to bend down his back bone to get into the house. My grandma is an Indian-Iban. (my nenek is the coolest nenek! ngee~ she never mad at us, never once)

So me = Malay+Chinese+Indian+Iban.
=D

wawaw I'm a pure MALAYSIAN.
*LOL*

(Mind you, that I have nil intention to be such a brag, showing off my race background. I just feel deeply grateful for who I am.)

Now everything is crytal clear, I'm a pure Sarawakian.

That's all for now. I'll update some more later. It's 2.25 am and hell no,no,no, I need sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a longgggg day. Huhuh TB Testing? waaa takut kena inject! ;(

*B*
